haha... life has taken a turn for the better. well at least i felt great today.
well early in the morning i rushed to the prefects' room, along with my big bulky blazer to find that tube of super glue, well to paste my new blazer serial no. well it wasn't there... so lazy me just chucked it into my shared cubby-hole. hahaha. if by tomorrow recess, the tube ain't there i'll bring one myself on fri.
and yay! congrats to me! i successfully gave out all the blazer serial numbers to all sec2 prefects! haha... minor task but at least i didn't screw it up... that's a relief. =P
kicked off lessons with eng+lit... we had a mock trial today, using Lord Of The Flies author William Golding as the main talking point. Teacher talked about him slandering the human race and my group was defence. oh well, i remember last night, when i was trying desperately to research for it, and then yet i couldn't make the questions in time... craps. luckily andrew offered to help me formulate the questions for the witness... I OWE YOU BIG TIME ANDREW. thanks!!!
well it went pretty well. i was playing a witness. Thomas Hobbes, some olden philosopher which had long hair but a bald patch. Went talking for a few minutes with a bandage cloth and some strips of foolscap on my head as a wig. hahaha... it looked very feminine, so i chucked the foolscap and went on with the cloth alone... in the end i was saved by the bell... haha tomorrow shall be the verdict...
next was chinese. and for some reason i was pretty attentive and didn't fall asleep so much this time. went through a new lesson and i managed to get all the notes on the board down in my textbook. yay another victorious lesson...
haha pe was up after that. i didn't play softball... just sat down somewhere and read my book. argh now i get reminded of my joint injury again. but i clean forgot about it again during recess... haha... after recess were 2 slack subjects, CLE and philo. CLE was plain nuts, i had the book they were talking on anyway... lol... and philo was great. my essay was on the projector screen and i got 15-17 upon 20 for that. haha means that if i actually bothered to elaborate i would've pulled off an 18-20... haha... after philo me and jon goh spent the whole luch period with the philo teacher talking. Dennis is an Josephian. and he came here to teach cuz he wants to save up for his philo masters deg. yeah, and he was telling us about the strengths of having a philo deg. now i'm inspired again... my next uni deg's gonna be either an engineering or a philo deg. haha... besides that i signed up for the philo SIG. so fun... lol
science was after lunch. now it was the only period i didn't pay sooo much attention to. for some reason. maybe cuz i was hungry or something... haha... well we went thru physics, and of course another spirit-dampening, disheartening news... test is in week 4. oh great. after that we were just watching a physics video all the way til 3.15... otto rox man...
before track i just grabbed a small bite and head for rj. talked to coach about my joint and spent an hour there looking at people train. hey now i think, maybe i might be able to run for the junior meet after all... my leg's loads better. 200m and 400m won't hurt... yeah. and at 4.30 i was whizzing home. OH GOSH, i just remembered. I LEFT MY UMBRELLA @ RJ TRACK! nooooo.... not again. tmr gotta run there before 3rd lang and pray that it's there. yeah haha.
