Week 9 term 2. Such a weird week. Feeling slack and mug at the same time.
Common test papers are all coming back. In fact most of them have come back last week. Disappointment never fails to knock on my door. In total, so far I've screwed up History and Science. They fell significantly, yeah the marks were far from last year's. Science was shocking though. Physics apparently seemed of average standard but sadly I didn't do too well. A science paper showing 23.5/40 was enough to send me into a state of listlessness after our annual health check. haha. then i just proceeded to write crap on a piece of paper. just poured out my angst and despair over that piece of pulp. after the science lesson the paper was full of words. alot of crap la. eventually linan tried to cheer me up by saying that those crap words could form a rap. haha yeah but it didn't really shake me.
History was nuts. It was supposedly one of my best subjects. Sadly I didn't do well at all. After a bomb sent by Science, this consequent bomb put me into state of utter silence. well i didn't talk much for the next few hours at least. 18/30. Well how many subjects can i suffer in despair for? In the end I realised that for the common test, my reasoning technique had changed to some hideous demonic style that i learned from a "model answer" provided by teacher. Lesson learnt. Next time, just trust your own style and never learn from a model one. Had i known i would have checked through the online lesson twice. I didn't know there were key stuff inside it. Aww well. I braced for the next few papers.
Next came maths and chinese. Well i don't feel sad for these subjects. Actually i feel kinda okay about them, cuz I actually improved since sec one. Yayy. Haha. Maths common test was kinda nuts too cuz i only got 32.5/50 for it. But hey i still got an A (GPA = 3.6) after adding my CA component. Haha i was pretty glad. A 2.8 jump to a 3.6. Yay.
Higher Chinese. The only thing that came to my mind when i first saw the mark was... ALRIGHT MAN!!! Haha. A 10-plus mark jump in my results. From a mere 63 to a 75. Just 5 marks more and i would've gotten A+. Haha... Sadly my zuo wen still pulled me down. Gotta practise more. And I was like so happy for my Chinese Report Project. Got 68/70 and topped the class with Jia Wang and a few others. Haha. Well that's enough bragging. Now I gotta drill on my other subjects for the june hols.
Today. Tuesday. Very slack day accept for French. We spent the English period watching The Lord Of The Flies movie. Actually i spent the lesson snoozing in my comfortable seat. Haha. The movie was boring. The only main sound layer they applied in the movie was just the voices. No background sound. Only a soft rustle of leaves every now and then. Guess it was a very slack production as well. Haha. Science was a lab lesson, and i finished it without much mistake. Art was nice. It was our last lesson of the year (next semester taking music) and we had to do a name card. I just drew a few doodles on the front and designed a tag for my name on the back. The doodles were kinda cool, haha... i took a small portion of it on my phone, but now i'm pondering over how to get it on picasa. lol.
Next was history and IvP soon after. Not much depth in lessons anyway. French was rather intensive, probably cuz i suddenly felt enthu and participated alot, and there being a test on thursday. haha. well that was my day. haha will post soon and regularly. at least i'll try. haha k bye.
