ONE DEGREE ASIA YOUTH LEADERS CONVENTION DAY TWO!
I reached the macs of plaza singapura at like 7.30 to find almost everyone there already haha so we quickly ate and made it to smu rather early. Today was full of youth development talks especially about the MDGs and everything. Left tom rather sleepy (all of us included too haha) but it was on overall good la!
Above is the area outside our conference hall! Hahah smu is simply a great place but a tad too small for a university eh? Hahaha and this time I managed to snap a photo of the almost-completed mind map on the previously blank plastic board.
Hahaha my first workshop was on Youth Development by the World Bank! It was a rather fast-paced session with a lot of questions and answers but left me rather nowhere because of my limited brain capacity or something. Haha it was good though, took the notes home and internalized and felt that there actually is a lot a lot of sense to the speaker's sayings.
Then after lunch it was HIPHOP WORKSHOP! Haha tom justin andrea and i were all like dancing rather funnily and then we started noticing each others' dances. Tom you can dance one! Don't woodblock! Justin pro haha and andrea can dance! When I get the video sometime later I'll post it right here yay haha.
The hiphop left us rather drenched in sweat and I was painstakingly trying to get my crazily thick shirt to dry. In the end I gave up and we all made for the final workshop, media relations. Haha Paul and Junyang were at the whole Darth Vader thing or something. While sleeping and waiting for the course to start.
Hahaha oh well and after that we went for dinner and snapped this random shot but anyway yeah tom was trying to snap kevin mark lee who DITCHED US for girls and yeah now we're all pretty irritated with him. Kevin if you see this GOOD FOR YOU.
Haha yeah after dinner we went to CATHAY CINEPLEX TO CATCH HEAVEN AND EARTH! A movie based on the life story of the convention's Guest-of-Honour haha yeah it was really inspiring. But gory as well. Haha it was an NC16 movie. Hey dig this man yesterday we went to Zouk which was meant for 18-aboves. Today we watch this movie for 16-aboves! And we're all legally underage but legal to go through heh!
At the start of the movie I got pretty screwed up. Thanks will thanks paul. And later after that I felt I was the luckiest guy on earth again. Haha yeah and that's for today.

HARD INTO THE DAY

Hard into the day we wake
sleep eyes, dreamy soul,
3 hours of sleep seems like none to all
for it's worth it.
Hard into the day, we hurry
for our offices, our rooms
settle on our desks, to fatigue we won't fall
for we rush it.
Hard into the day we break
free from the skies, at twelve noon
dig the lunch or the sleep we crave
for we enjoy it.
Hard into the day we bury
into our work, for the good
of the progress of our nation wide and free
for we love it.
Hard into the day we knock
off from everywhere at sunset.
Pack the trains, the buses to home,
for we miss it.
Hard into the day we live
As the busy businessman of Asia.
Toil we must, the country we trust,
but are our taxes getting more?
PRANCE!

Everything from leaves to meat.
We dig away, at the enormous heap (WE EAT!)
so to say, we're still eating (WE EAT!)
Fill to the top, the brim, we're no more slim
Than the stretched fat bouncing flat on our skin.
And we're stuffed.
