It was screwed sigh.
Starting. Tried out the blocks and made a 40-50m test run and eventually they were all starting and everyone was waiting for me to walk back to my starting point. Well when we eventually went into starting there was a stupid false start but by the second time we all sped off already.
First hundred. Was very relaxed. Very very relaxed. In fact it turned out to be TOO relaxed. But it was good, I overtook some lane 6 guy and soon the curve turned straight and I was feeling real fine and calm and still had alot alot of energy.
Second hundred. Was very okay and yeah I still went on rather nicely, got faster and faster but still had alot of energy and I was pretty confident. Third hundred was spent being paced by the Temasek guy on lane 1 cos he caught up and yeah the last hundred was good still. Cos I overtook like 3 people including this st pats guy. And I thought I did well.
In the end I clocked like 60 seconds. Jonlim you idiot you're supposed to break pb, not flop behind it. And of course, even sixty can't possibly qualify for c'div so yeah I'm over and out. That's the end of nationals for me this year yay. I'm seriously rocking at this.
But anyway raffles swim did well. RI swept one division while everyone else swept all two! Raffles dominated with 5 out of 6 divisions won. I'm praying I'm praying I'm praying for a holiday.
