So concluded DELF. The written paper was believed to be ok but I still have my insecurities. The listening comprehension was some crap, well I found it far too fast for DELF A2, well now for B1 it was alright and nice but the guy's voice was husky and muffled. So eventually I couldn't pick out much. And after the written paper we were arguing whether a certain question's answer was 27, 202, or 300 million. Lol crap seemingly similar situation always happens after french tests.

The oral component was crazy! I stoned through massive portions of the thing and the examiner had to stare at me eyes wide open and kept humming to press me on for an answer. I couldn't remember much, only that the main gist of my whole discussion was: J'aime faire le sport, le sport est bon. Haha which means I love sports, sports is good. I wanted to say a whole lot of stuff, like how sports give me the confidence, keeps me fit, releases me from the stress of everyday life in society. Figured out I couldn't put them right in french. Figures figures sheesh.

Well yeah after DELF Marvin and I went on some Orchard road trail running places here and there. We went for late lunch at Wisma Atria then went running to Meridien Centre for an hour of dota in which he conveniently beat me flat then we ran scooting off to Cine to find that the movie I wanted was sold out and hence we ran to Taka. Spent a huge long while at the coffee bean listening to Marvin and his antics then spent another big chunk of time at Kino. I still haven't used that $10 voucher I got early in the year! I'd better use it fast.

And oh yeah here's a real memorable thing: I snapped this giant christmas tree standing in Taka. And I realized, last year 2005 I snapped a photo of the (probably) same christmas tree after DELF A2! And I was with Japheth. Haha how fun.

Turns out these few days I've been focussed on the huge and big things at hand, and not enjoying in the small details of everyday. There could be so much to talk about, so much to write about, so much to rejoice over, I guess now's the time to just find those small details and find little bits of happiness in them. Haha like this morning I took a glass of Frappacino off the shelf at 7-11 and asked the girl at the counter to help me open it, cos I had much much difficulty opening it once.

She just simply popped the cap off and smiled a hiding laugh. Haha I was in a cross between embarrassment and novelty humour, blinded so much that I ended up at the wrong exit of Newton station and had to walk back again to reach Alliance Francaise. Haha that's all for a day I guess. It was great.
