THE FINAL TRACK FINALS YESTERDAY AND NOW IT'S GONEE.
But ya heh I really loved yesterday for the highs and calms and all the trackers who've been there for each other all the way till the end. It was really such a nice day; we started all the fun when we gained access to the new weights room to sleep and rest in! Then syafiq in his harvard student attire decided to get me to uh. camwhore. Eh no la there was just this giant mirror lining one entire wall so it was fun!

k I'm never doing such dumb things again haha it was fun though :D we rested all the way from 11 plus to 12.45 then set off for choa chu kang stadium! We met the rj trackers camping at the top of the badminton sports hall and stoned there until it was time to warmup. But blah it was weird because I was the only person not taking any event except 4x400m then the other guys would have warmed up long before that. So in the end I warmed up super early and kept striding until my race.
CAPTAIN WANG DID WELL! AND TINGZHANG AND THE KINGOFTHEMILE TOO! To the 4x100m guys mchia ding kieran wangkwan it was really a good race; have no regrets but blast next year ya!
The 4x400m race meant my very last single round race. Oh yeah I completed it but not much up to my own expectations, finished 6th-7th thereabouts on the first leg. Then I passed on to wangkwan. DON'T YOU THINK THIS PHOTO ROCKS! Haha kieran damn pro.
Mchia finished it very very strongly for us. And it was over.
Sadly we finished 5th losing the fourth place only by a little bit. But we know we've come far. Credit goes to all who've placed their blood and sweat into every single step, every single hop, every single launch. Credit to the sprinters jumpers throwers for all they have put in. Credit to the crossers who contributed 70% of our school points!
I feel very sad haha. In a moment of crazy stress while trying to get the prefects not to miss their bus back to school after the track finals and trying to get the trackers down to the stadium for one final cheer, I missed the institution anthem and unite cheer. Ah what a waste -.- but nvm! NEXT YEAR WHO KNOWS :D
RI TRACK 2007. THERE WAS NEVER A CRAZIER YEAR.
THEN IT WAS TRACK DINNER. Okay we wanted to go with rj track at first but there apparently wasn't any space for us left so we went to seoul garden (again for the 4th time in 3 years) at marina square! Quote liyuan, we left the place in disaster, or rather the remaining trackers who stayed back even after 10pm left the place in a horrible state!
Hahah no la the guys who stayed back only filled one table, so we left that table dying!
Yeah we left eventually at about 10.15pm, all full and contented. Ding gave his 'team talk' to the remaining 4 of us: "Alright guys, whatever we have done for the past year, all comes down to this... It's a splendid track dinner. See you this friday" HAHA.
