The first week of term two has turned out quite fine - pretty much thankful for all the smooth journey so far!

I've gotten a lot of test results back, for literature, history, math, econs, and GP - okay essentially all subjects! And I express my displeasure, notably at math and GP for the fact that my math still remains in its horrible state. Though it's improved quite a bit, but there's little to be desired of absymbal results in RJ. Shall work harder! As for GP it was quite a shock because I've been doing well back then in RI but now it's was far worse than how I expected it to turn out.

As for the other subjects they were quite okay - being totally new to a pure-arts combination I don't know what to expect, but I know that I have lots to work on, and I will make the best of it!

Ironically, today was a very lazy good friday and I ended up not doing anything and just spent the afternoon lazing in spaced thoughts and a whole lot of randomness. So much for personal effectiveness, but well I've had quite a good rest (three times more than my usual sleep duration yay!) so I'm pretty much refreshed and ready to work hard tomorrow.

And here I wonder -

How we just can't wait, for that bit of patience;

How we just can't withstand, for a little acceptance;

How we just doubt, that small bit of sincerity;

How we just can't hold on, to eventually let go.

And I wonder too, how things can fall into place so easily until we can really assure ourselves that our successes are God-given, and how sometimes things just go so wrong that we find no way of turning back. It can be called a fair exchange, but is it just that simple?

Quoting Andie from Step-Up 2(marvellous movie which made me watch it twice), as much as it's a dance movie with less of a storyline, "It's not about what we have, it's about how we make use of what we have." And that applies to all of us, no matter who we are - as long as we do it right, we'll see good things coming our way, and all we have to do is to keep at it and not fall back.

And I shouldn't worry so much - even though everything might just come to an end when 2009 arrives and we'd all be reduced to focussing on our A's and nothing else in our lives, we still have this time, and this time isn't going to be wasted away.
